Such a gem! Had a good time here for a random dinner, we came right at and as soon as we’re seated there was a line that was going out the door and I can see why after eating here! We were started off with a bit of their homemade tofu and I even enjoyed the sides! Our fav sides were the candied fried tofu and the radish kimchi. The omelette with mentaiko and green tea mayo was so so delicious! Not too heavy but perfectly salty and savoury. We got the pork and kimchi dish for our main and it also came with tofu but we asked to have rice cakes added in. I definitely want to come back and try some of their stews!!

This is the best Korean restaurant I've ever eaten at in New York—hands down. With many unique dishes you won't find at other places, like the squid rice dish. They also offer a generous amount of banchan (side dishes), and the service is excellent—they kept refilling our side dishes without us even asking. I truly hope this restaurant never closes; that's the highest compliment I can give!

Everything was so good! You can really taste the difference in their handmade tofu.Be prepared to wait for a seat. I recommend going to put your name down first before doing anything else around the area. We had to wait hour so it was definitely smarter for us if we did our shopping after we started queuing.

Cho Dang Gol is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had! Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but it’s no surprise—this place is super popular and was packed with back-to-back table service. Totally worth it though! Luna, the host, was so professional and kept things running smoothly, and Thomas, our waiter, was super cool and made sure we had everything we needed. But the real star of the night was Leonardo, the busboy—he was so friendly and fun, and honestly, he made the whole experience even better! Now, let’s talk about the food... WOW. I had the spicy seafood tofu stew, and it was one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever eaten—perfectly spiced and so flavorful. My girlfriend got the spicy veggie tofu stew, and she couldn’t stop raving about it either. The atmosphere was cozy and lively, and everything just came together for an amazing night. We’ll absolutely be back—this place is a gem!
